A tendency has been shown to regard the issue of “I” as a general kind of harshness of life. Nonetheless, both the sexual victimization “I” encounters, and the cross-dressing aiming for disembodiment supposedly are deeply associated with masculinity. If so, taking up the issue of “I” without gender perspectives may lead to overlooking its association with masculine norms. This article attempts to comprehend the protagonist’s sexual victimization experience and cross-dressing in the light of masculine norms, and demonstrate how they are presented as an issue of masculinity.}, pages = {71--86}, title = {遠野遥『改良』論 : 男性性をめぐる傷つきの物語}, volume = {6}, year = {2023} }
