In this study, gastric emptying of a liquid soup meal and a solid humberger meal was measured in six healthy women by applied potential tomography (APT) system. The quarter and the half emptying time of the solid test meal (37.3 ± 22.0 min and 97.3 ± 26.4 min) were significantly longer (p < 0.01) than those of the liquid test meal (10.6 ± 6.7 min and 28.4 ± 12.1 min), and the lag time of the solid test meal prolonged (21.2 ± 13.9 min in the solid meal vs 12.0 ± 13.2 min in the liquid meal). These results were similar to those measured by previous methods. Gastric emptying measurements have an important role in pathophysiological research of the stomach and EIT may be ideal and useful method for its study.}, pages = {17--20}, title = {Electrical Impedance Tomography(EIT)法による胃排出能測定}, volume = {21}, year = {1998} }
