The purpose of this study is to clarify their basic ideas and attitudes on sports promotions, and intends to obtain some materials to study on administrative management for better sports promotions in the community. The subjects of this investigation were 87 municipal and town heads in Aichi Prefecture, exclusive of Nagoya City. The time period for the investigation was July, 1992. The percentage of this valid response was 75.9. The results of analysis were that: 1) About 80 percent of those officials responding have been in managerial positions involving sports organizations. And also 65 percent of them usually participate in sports events in the area. 2) 77 percent of those responding had suggested policies on sports promotions in their campaigns. Over half of those policies were on construction and maintenance of public sports facilities. 3) The greater part of the officials responding estimated that a sufficient number of public sports facilities had been constructed. 4) A majority or the officials responding consider that to prepare every public sports facilities for all people is the administration's duty. 5) Especially, the municipal officials agree more strongly than officials of towns and villages that large-scale sports facilities should be constructed. 6) Most of those officials responding were hoping to improve the people's health by sports activities and also are expecting to promote their community consciousness.}, pages = {1--9}, title = {地域スポーツ行政に関する一考察 : 愛知県下における首長の意識調査から}, volume = {20}, year = {1997} }
