The data collected by the survey were analyzed from the view points of the actual state of their sleeping life as well as the limits of the survey method used generally in the research or sleeping life. The average time of rising and sleeping in week day were 7:01 am and 12:13 am, respectively and the average duration of sleeping was 6 hours and 34 minutes. There was the largest difference (2 hours and 28 minutes) between the earliest (6:41 am) and latest time (9:09 am) of rising. For the the time of sleeping, the earliest, the latest and their difference were 12:07 am, 12:35 am and 46 minutes, respectively. The time of rising in the day having earliest class was 6:41 am and the time of rising not having earliest class was 7:54 am indicating the dependency to the curriculum of the day. The averaged sleeping time obtained directly from their answers was 6 hours and 34 minutes while that calculated as the difference between the times of sleeping and rising was 14 minutes less than that from direct answers. The average ideal sleeping time (7 hours and 50 minutes) was more than 1 hour longer in comparison with the sleeping duration or their daly life. In the later rising group, the sleeping time was also later and sleeping duration became longer. But grouping by the sleeping time, in the later sleeping group, sleeping duration became shorter even though the rising time was also later.}, pages = {19--26}, title = {女子学生の睡眠項目に関する検討}, volume = {19}, year = {1996} }
