We performed the euglycemic clamp pocedure (insulin infusion rate: 6.0mU/kg/min) in 8 awake and 9 anesthetized male Wistar rats. Mean body weights, and fasting blood glucose and plasma insulin concentrations were similar in the two groups. There was also no significant difference in blood glucose or plasma insulin levels during the clamp study between the two groups. Glucose disposal rate averaged over 60 ~ 90 min during the euglycemic clamp was significantly (p < 0.01) higher in awake rats (25.1 ± 2.9mg/kg/min) than in anesthetized rats (14.3 ± 0.7mg/kg/min). Glucose metablic clearance rate was also found as shown in glucose disposal rate. These results suggest that anethesia reduces insulin sensitivity in rats.}, pages = {67--70}, title = {覚醒時と麻酔下におけるインスリン感受性の比較検討 : euglycemic clamp法を用いて}, volume = {19}, year = {1996} }
