 note = {This text described the multiple meanings of deadjectival verbs marumaru and marumeru in addition to discussing the relation between these multiple meanings (the polysemic structure). Resultantly, it was acknowledged that there were three different meanings acknowledged for marumaru and eleven for marumeru. Furthermore, since these two verbs are a corresponding transitive/intransitive verb pair, the corresponding relationship between the different meanings of the verbs was also examined. The results of this examination clarified that the meanings of these words do not correspond to each other. Moreover, the relation between the different meanings was considered by looking at the three types of symbolic language, metaphor, synecdoche and metonymy, and it was thus possible to clarify the relation among the different meanings.},
