For this paper, the works of C.Doyle from 1887's to 1927's is examined here. Literary works have been thought to be a useful means of assessing of sports. Literature makes it possible to analyse contemporary society more realistically than by social science, because it tends to show the time and society more vividly by it's free imagination. To explain sports through literature seems to be most suitable approch.
