 note = {In Japan. it was not until February, 1984 that guidance on health administration for visual display terminal operators had been made public by the Ministry of Lavor. In advance of it, the importance of the problem had been recognized on campus in Nagoya Univ. in 1982, because of the ill state of many oparators on the occasion of moving to the new library building. Therefore, the Health Committee of Nagoya Univ. divised a plan to put forward a policy on VDT operator's health improvement in June, 1989 and organized a subcommittee on the administation of VDT operator's health start in March, 1985. Details of this period are discribed in this paper for the sake of promotion of the campus health.},
