 note = {We report an asymptomatic case of mediastinal tumor in a 23-year-old male. His chest X-ray film at the annual health check-up in 1992 showed the enlarged right upper to middle mediastinum. Chest CT findings suggested that a mass shadow (5X5X6cm) with low to soft density was located at the upper to middle mediastinum. Under a diagnosis of mediastinal tumor, the mass was resected. We examine chest X-ray films at the annual health check-ups every year but we do not have found a mediastinal tumor for more than 20 years in our center. Although neoplastic diseases as this case are very rare in the students, we should examine them carefully keeping the possibility of those diseases in mind.},
