The following results were obtained. 1) Insulin sensitivity significantly improved from 2.93±0.34ml/kg/min to 6.03±1.23ml/kg/min (P<0.05). At the same time, systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure were significantly decreased from 141±6.98±4 and 114±4mmHg to 121±4 (P< 0.005), 79±3 (P<0.005) and 93±3mmHg (P<0.001), respectively. 2) Before reduction, insulin sensitivity was inversely related to systolic (r=-0.744, P<0.05), diastolic (r=-0.861, P<0.01) or mean blood pressure (r=-0.857, P<0.01). These results suggest that the severity of insulin resistance in obesity is directly correlated with that of hypertension and that not only dietary restriction but also physical exercise training is very effective on the improvement of insulin insensitivity and blood pressure.}, pages = {55--59}, title = {肥満者におけるインスリン抵抗性と高血圧に関する研究 : 身体トレーニング前後の比較}, volume = {13}, year = {1990} }
