The following results arc obtained. After exercise, β2-microglobulin levels significantly increased (P < 0.02) and futhermore the exacerbation of proteinuria and hematuria was seen in most subjects. However, there were no significant changes in serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen or ratios of urinary N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase activity/urinary creatinine concentration before and after exercise, unlike of previous studies. From these results, the mechanism of exercise effect on nephropathy and its applicability to man remain to be determined.}, pages = {27--30}, title = {Effects of Exercise on Renal Disease (I)}, volume = {10}, year = {1987} }
