 note = {The main purpose of this study was to examine the psychological aptitude of top table tennis players from the view point of dual construction personality model. The top players (N=154) in this study were members of all Japan team and prize winners in inter hgih school competition. MPI was administered as measuring inner level of personality while TSMI, will power questionnaire, and stage flight questionnaire were used as measuring outer level of personality. As the results, the folowing tendencies were detected: (1) Extraverts showed relatively high achivement motivation of sports in comparison with introverts. (2) Higher neurotic players showed high negative scores on TSMI, will power, and stage flight. It appears that the dual approach, inner and outer level should be necessary to measure psychological aptitude of top athletes.},
