 note = {The lasaeid bivalve Pseudopythina ochetostomae was found at 6 tidal flats in the Ryukyu Islands, southern Japan, mainly attached to the wall of burrows inhabited by the two echiurans Listriolobus riukiuensis and Ochetostoma erythrogrammon. At the two sampling sites in the Nagura tidal flat, western coast of Ishigaki Island, the bivalves were found in 67-78% of the burrows of the former echiuran and in 92% of the latter. Each burrow was inhabited usually by a single bivalve, but rarely up to 5 individuals. Some morphological variation was noted in periostracum.},
