Forty one achieve success subjects (Ts group) and 43 avoid failure subjects (TF group) were chosen from 250 junior high school boys on the basis of their scores on the Motive of Academic Achievement Test (Fujiwara and Shimoyama) and Test Anxiety Scale for Children (Sarason, et al). Initially, all subjects were given 5 test trials of a ball juggling task after 5 minutes practice on the same task. After that, the subjects were administered persistence trials to achieve the standard of excellence which had been determined by a experimenter. Causal attribution and affective response for the test trials (failure), expectancy for the persistence trials, and persistence time in the persistence trials were measured as independent variables throughout the experimental process. Ts group showed higher persistence time than TF group. This result consists with previous research findings. TF group attributed their failure to a lack of Ability in comparison to Ts group. The function of Ability factor in persistence was not clear. Also, concerning both Effort and Task Difficulty factor, there were no relationships between achievement motivation and persistence. However, for both TS and TF group, the high persistence group showed more higher Luck factor scores than the low persistence group. It was assumed that change of the attribution scores and level of performance for subsequent failure in the persistence trials might be effect on these results. As for the affective response and the expectancy, TS group showed significantly higher scores than TF group, and also the high persistence group showed significantly higher scores than the lower one.}, pages = {59--66}, title = {失敗事態におけるパーシステンスの研究 : 達成動機づけと原因帰属に関して}, volume = {5}, year = {1982} }
