She formulated her own theories of morality and art in dialogue with Kant. It is in De l’Allemagne (On Germany) that Madame de Staël considers Kant’s philosophy as the impetus for a renewal of French philosophy and spirit. She shows particular interest in the concept of “disinterest” presented by Kant in his critical works, and in De l’Allemagne, she develops a moral theory based on this concept. According to Madame de Staël’s view of humanity, two principles govern human behavior: the senses and the soul. The former is influenced by the external world, while the latter is a universal function inherent in humans. A genuinely moral act is one that stems from internal and universal feelings ingrained in the soul, rather than external motives of interest and utility. Madame de Staël, however, does not completely align with Kant’s moral theory. While Kant asserts that the moral law serves as the motivation for moral actions, she emphasizes the importance of spontaneous feelings of duty. Additionally, she contends that Kant’s moral theory does not require a religious dimension. In Madame de Staël’s perspective, it is religious sentiment that serves as the wellspring of moral actions, describing this inner divinity as enthusiasm. Similarly, disinterest also shapes Madame de Staël’s perspective on art and enables her to connect morality with art. Like desirable morality, ideal beauty cannot be associated with sensory pleasures, nor can it be a mere imitation of the physical world. Music, being the noblest of the arts, does not imitate anything; therefore it resonates within the depths of humanity. Only those who have something divine within them that makes possible the enjoyment of beauty and moral conduct because of the same reason, can resonate with music. In this sense, the disinterested beauty of music serves as the catalyst for moral actions.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_9_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.18999/humfnu.7.235","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_9_publisher_32":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"名古屋大学大学院人文学研究科","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_9_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"収録物識別子","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"2433-2321","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"open access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"小沢, 史門","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"KOZAWA, Shimon","creatorNameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2024-03-07"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"humfnu_7_235.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"869 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://nagoya.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/2009475/files/humfnu_7_235.pdf"},"version_id":"bf818632-45d5-4929-a814-71bcaf46f2c6"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"スタール夫人","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"カント","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"音楽","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Madame de Staël","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Kant","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Music","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"道徳的行為の契機としての音楽の無関心な美 : スタール夫人のカント解釈における道徳と音楽","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"道徳的行為の契機としての音楽の無関心な美 : スタール夫人のカント解釈における道徳と音楽","subitem_title_language":"ja"}]},"item_type_id":"40001","owner":"17","path":["1709775110330"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2024-03-07"},"publish_date":"2024-03-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"2009475","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["道徳的行為の契機としての音楽の無関心な美 : スタール夫人のカント解釈における道徳と音楽"],"weko_creator_id":"17","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-03-07T03:43:45.550553+00:00"}
