| 内容記述 | The public information and awareness-raising required by Article 42 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child can be structured into three layers: 1) children learning about children’s rights, 2) children’s rights training for professionals involved related to children, parents and other supporters of children, and 3) public information and awareness-raising for the general public. The first layer must be implemented in an environment where children’s rights are guaranteed and where instructions are clear. The second layer must be conducted in a systematic, continual manner; one that focuses on a child rights-based approach for professionals directly and indirectly involved with children, and that refers to Article 5 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, in which knowledge of a child rights-based approach is expected of parents and caregivers. The third layer aims to transform society’s obsolete views of the child and replace it with general principles that support a healthy educational environment that nourishes the expression of individual rights. The underlying premise is that a society made aware of the layers of PR and awareness-raising can more effectively facilitate the implementation of ever-changing public information and awareness-raising in regards to the rights of a child. | |||||||||
