| 内容記述 | This paper examines the verb "eru," which expresses a passive meaning. Firstly, using the BCCWJ corpus, the top 100 noun phrases marked by the accusative case particle "wo" that co-occur with "eru" were extracted. Subsequently, focusing on 40 of these noun phrases, specifically verbal nouns or those derived from the continuative form of verbs, five major constructions through which "eru" conveys a passive meaning were identified. The syntactic features and nuances of these five constructions were analyzed. Additionally, the interchangeability of these constructions with passive sentences, request sentences, and causative sentences was investigated. | |||||||||
