| 内容記述 | Modern dance was devised in response to the stagnation of classical ballet in Western Europe and the new theories of the body that were linked to various lifestyle reform movements in rapidly industrializing societies. The acceptance and development of modern dance in China is closely linked to the political background and the progress of the times, and since the early 20th century, through the Second Sino-Japanese War, the founding of New China, the Cultural Revolution, and the Reform and Opening Up , it has generally gone through periods of acceptance, silence, and revival. Furthermore, during the War of Resistance against Japanese aggression, pioneers of modern dance in China carried out modern dance education activities and played an important role in training the next generation of dancers. Since the 1980s, with the advent of Reform and Opening Up, a policy of literary innovation was put forward, and modern dance has experienced a revival. On the other hand, many modern dance dramas adapted from literary works were created, and this phenomenon can be seen as an encouragement of the uniqueness of modern dance development in China as well as a part of the development of nationalization. Against this background, modern dance works expressing women's inner consciousness by the next generation of female choreographers, such as Shu Qiao, have appeared. This paper discusses two of Shu Qiao 's works, “Madam Yu Ching”(1985) and “Rouge”(1990), in which the female lead character expresses her inner thoughts. It considers how the creation of these two works, which were new attempts different from the Chinese traditional dances created by government organizations up to that point, deviated from political ideology, and ties it to the state of feminist research in China at the time to clarify whether Shu Qiao's cultural practice through the body of dance can be positioned as part of Chinese feminism. | |||||||||
