This paper proposes a high-port-count optical circuit switch architecture that supports both intra- and inter-datacenter networks. A switching system prototype is constructed to transparently connect intra-datacenter networks to metropolitan networks for inter-datacenter communication. Experiments successfully confirm the feasibility of a 11,520×11,520 optical circuit switch prototype. |
