We propose a novel method to measure the frequency transition of a wavelength-tunable laser by coherent detection with multiple intensity-encoded local oscillators. Numerical simulations demonstrate the measurement of laser-frequency transition with 4.8 THz range. The feasibility of our method is confirmed through proof-of-concept experiments. |
