| 内容記述 | Lindera umbellata Thunb has a special sweet fragrance. It has been used as tooth picks for Japanese traditional cakes, but recently it has been also utilized as medical liquor and a bath solution. Demands for it as a medical plant have been also increasing. Therefore, producing stocks has another possibility for rural forests. This study attempted to make cuttings of Lindera umbellata Thunb and Lindera umbellata Thunb. var. membranacea (Maxim.) Momiyama. Each of the cutting materials was collected before leaves bloomed leaves in the middle of April in 2016. The cuttings were two types; 10cm and 20cm long and planted in a planter (60cm long × 22cm wide × 16cm depth). 15 cuttings were planted in each planter for a total of 90 cuttings planted for each of the types. The nursery bed for this experiment was soil for gardening (Kanuma soil). The percentage of blooming leaves of Lindera umbellata Thunb.was 80 percent and var. membranacea was 70 percent. However, the percentage of rooting for Lindera umbellata Thunb. was only 5 percent and var. membranacea was 15 percent. 15% of var. membranacea had callus. A survival rate of Lindera umbellata was 20% and var. membranacea was 30%. Measurement of data by SPAD of stocks with roots or callus were significantly higher than stocks without them (p<0.005). | |||||||
