| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify the impact that the collaboration of teachers’ perceptions has on the role of teachers when addressing child abuse. The teaching faculty staff work together when dealing with child abuse situations in schools; each teacher’s role differs in respect to his/her specific occupation, position, and the division of duties in accordance with the Ministry of Education guide1). Previous research confirms cases where the cooperation between faculty members could not be described as smooth; problems with collaboration are well noted. In such cases, the failure was at tributed to the influence of the particular role of each type of faculty member. In this study, I focused on “Seito Shido” teachers, “Yogo” teachers, and administrators as teachers proactively involved as first responders in cases of child abuse stated in previous research. I conducted interviews to confirm how these faculty members perceive different roles within the school staff and describe how they collaborate with other teachers. The findings reveal a difference between the perception of one’s own role and the perception of the role of another faculty member. Differences noted regarding the role of “Yogo” teachers suggest a failure to cooperate among the school faculty. | |||||||||
