| 内容記述 | The Mei-Writing Spring Camp is a newly launched international program designed to integrate academic writing, logical thinking skills, and intercultural collaboration in an intensive, experiential format. Building on the long-standing success of the Mei-Writing Summer Camp in Japan, the Spring Camp extends the initiative to Singapore, thereby broadening its scope to a more global and multicultural context. This paper introduces the background, conceptual framework, and practical implementation of the Mei-Writing Spring Camp. It also examines the program’s educational design and reflects on its potential to serve as an alternative model of a study-abroad program that addresses both pedagogical and structural challenges commonly associated with conventional overseas programs. | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | メイ・ライティング・スプリングキャンプは、アカデミック・ライティング、論理的思考力、ならびに異文化協働を、集中的かつ体験的な学習形式で統合することを目的として新たに立ち上げられた国際プログラムである。日本において長年にわたり実績を重ねてきたメイ・ライティング・サマーキャンプを基盤とし、本スプリングキャンプはその取り組みをシンガポールへと展開することで、よりグローバルかつ多文化的な文脈へとその射程を拡張している。本稿では、メイ・ライティング・スプリングキャンプの背景、概念的枠組み、および実践的な実施内容を紹介する。さらに、本プログラムの教育設計を検討し、従来の海外留学プログラムにしばしば見られる教育的・制度的課題の双方に対応しうる、代替的な留学モデルとしての可能性について考察する。 | |||||||||
