| 内容記述 | In this paper, we aim to decipher the problem of layoff survivors, focusing on social identity, which is one of the concepts that define people's emotions, cognition, and behavior as a group, based on the idea that layoff survivors, that is, employees who remain in the workplace after layoffs, are affected by restructuring not only as individuals but also as members of a group. Specifically, we will discuss what social identity is, the difference between organizational commitment, which has been studied as a dependent variable of survivor syndrome in the post-restructuring workplace, and organizational identity, which is one of the social identities in the workplace. By deciphering previous research against the background of social identity theory, we will consider the characteristics of layoff survivors and the mechanisms that trigger their responses from the perspective of layoff survivors as members of the organization, and provide suggestions for the development of future research. On top of that, the goal is to make recommendations for future workplaces to rebuild the working environment and human relationships in workplaces where personnel reductions have occurred. | |||||||||
