| 内容記述 | Purpose: The purpose of this study is to organize the content and methods of support for social workers involved in disaster relief in Japan, and to clarify the current situation and practical issues. Method: Literature review method: We searched the medical journal database “Ichushi Web” using the keywords “interpersonal assistance,” “supporters,” “disaster countermeasures/disaster relief,” “disasters,” and “earthquakes/earthquake disasters,” and extracted all results except for conference proceedings. The analysis method involved carefully reading papers related to human services professionals involved in disaster relief and considering their relevance to this study, and then selecting those papers that were relevant. In determining which literature to adopt, we took into consideration not only human services professionals but also psychological professionals. As a matter of ethical consideration, when summarizing and citing literature, the source was clearly indicated so as not to distort the meaning expressed by the author. Results: As a result of the literature review, 19 papers were found to be highly relevant to the purpose of this study. As human service professionals involved in disaster victim support, reports were received from supporters in the fields of health, medical care, and welfare (doctors, nurses, public health nurses, clinical psychologists), as well as childcare workers, telephone counselors, government officials, professionals, and general employees. The main topics covered were mental health of staff, stress reduction for support workers, promotion of self-care, and traumatic stress. Other initiatives included lectures, training, and dissemination of information through educational materials. Conclusion: In large-scale disasters, not only professional rescuers and social workers, but also many professionals who have opportunities to interact with disaster victims can become disaster relief workers. In times of disaster, both victims and supporters are placed in complex and diverse stressful situations. In order to support supporters, it is necessary to acquire accurate knowledge and coping skills to stabilize supporters and enhance measures for victims. | |||||||||||||
