The system is composed of a digitization unit and a personal computer. The return video signals from the radar receiver are digitized at every one microsecond by a 8-bit A/D converter, synchronizing with a trigger pulse of a radar transmitter. The digitized data are averaged for the successive 16 return signals, and converted to three color codes which represent echo levels. These color code data are sent to the personal computer and displayed on the monitor scope in the positions corresponding to the range and the antenna azimuth.
