The antenna drive system has been improved by using two stepping motors to drive hour angle and declination of each antenna. In our system, in order to detect the direction of each antenna, absolute encoders are not used but pulse counters are connected to all stepping motors. These counters are installed near the antenna array and count the pulses sent to the stepping motors.
