Several suitable places for the ground-based observation of natural wave phenomena were found around Esrange (67°53' N, 21°04'E ), which lies about 50 km east from Kiruna, and the measured average noise intensities at those places were less than 100 μv/m in the frequency range from 30 to 300 Hz. The electromagnetic noises from 20 kHz to 90 kHz did not so much change with the observational places and in this frequency range, the lower noise level bands were found from 30 kHz to 50 kHz and from 70 kHz to 85 kHz.}, pages = {71--78}, title = {INVESTIGATION OF THE ELF-VLF ELECTROMAGNETIC ENVIRONMENT IN KIRUNA AND ITS SUBURBS}, volume = {30}, year = {1983} }
