And we studied the adjustment process and the factors influencing the adjustment process. 16 autistic children were classified into four groups founded on the development stage (rated by NAUDS) at the entrance into elementary schools, the groups were named I, II, III and IV in order of development stage. It was clarified that there were characteristic problems on each group and we brought forward the necessary view point to the education for autistic children on each group. Group I (in this group most of NAUDS' subscales are below the third stage) It was marked that the autistic children who belong to this group were difficult to have relationship to teachers and to react to the other children. At the education to these children, it should be aimed to deepen the relationship to the teacher by skinship and to facilitate the concern or the reactivity to other persons. Group II (a few of NAUDS' sub scales are above the third stage in this group) Many children in this group were received intensive cares from the particular friends, and became to have relationships with these friends, still passively. So we can consider that a particular other should acts to make a reaction on this child intensively and lead by the hand into the small groups at first. Group III (most of NAUDS' subscales are above the third stage in this group) The child in this group has the much difficulties in his school life, acting unreasonably though becoming to aware the others. For these children, it should be aimed to facilitate their awareness to others and make them active in the human relations. Group IV (all of NAUDS' subscales are above the 4th stage in this group) The child in this group has been seen to have a strong needs to pal up with others, so the child acts to the others in his own manner. When the child is accepted enough in someone else, he show the good adjustment in the school.
