The analysis in this paper has extracted that: (1) bias is observed in the content of career education that is known as the Support Program for Contemporary Educational Needs (Contemporary GP) by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology; and (2) there is a gap between the curricula regarding career education prepared by universities and the students’ understanding of the necessity of the career education. The results of this research indicate that the career education in universities is insufficient with regard to “connection from the university to the society”. In other words it can be said that the career education in universities is not sufficient in the formation of views on labor and working attitudes as well as skills and knowledge indispensable for working.
