Concerning this problem, there is no other fatal themes in the field of present-day adolescent psychology as so actualy required of clarifying its essentials. More than thirty years have already passed since World War II, and the state of adolescents, their patterns of living, and status in the society seem to be essentially changing in our country. To approach to the adolescents in modern Japanese situation, we have endeavored the collaborative meeting during past one year to establish the "Clinical Adolescent Psychology". Experiencing many difficulties, we have attained the following 3 articles after mutual discussions. These articles are those of our starting problem-consciousnesses. I. Some methodological tasks of research in adolescence. Many years have passed since the adolescent psychology is called in crisis. What kinds of problems are contained in methodologies of adolescent research? What kinds of merits and possibilities have in the clinical approaches? Concerning these questions, we present the critical discussions upon now-a-day approaches to the adolescent, and thereafter, we assert our clinical viewpoints. II. The unique status of adolescence We examined the characteristics and structural features of adolescence which had been presented by the many representative researchers of many fields such as by the psychologists, psychopathologists or psychiatrists, cultural anthropologists, and sociologists, etc.. Concerning the essential description of the adolescence, we, however, must assert the basic deficiency of the clinical viewpoints. Is it to be assumed that the adolescent is a transitional period or the adolescent is a marginal man as called by K. Lewin? Or is it to be seen that the adolescent is the most fatal or critical stage that a person inevitaly encounters? We take the latter standpoint; the adolescent confronts a crisis or Krise where one falls in the developmental tasks of self-confrontation-self-establishment, self-determination, individuation, or ego-identity on his way of life cycle. Our approaches are, from obtains of clinical practices, that the essence of adolescent is these confrontations with the "crisis" or "krise" in his "Metamorphose", namely, problematizations that are maximally engendered. III. Upon the adolescent crisis (Pubertats-krise) There arise many crisis, when an individual leads a life, in each developmental stages. Why, however, the crisis in adolescence is so serious problem, and its conquest becomes so much predominant task? Clinical situation is the most clear one where we encounter with these adolescents upon whom crisis is arisen in these sense. In clinical approach, crisis becomes the first complaints of the client and the help to conquer his crisis is the supreme goals in clinical practice. What is meant of the crisis? And what is the basic situation when the crisis arises? We propose the concept of "Endon" by H. Tellenbach. Accepting these situations, we make our viewpoints more clearly, and take an orientation of the further step for our research., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {85--106}, title = {<原著>臨床青年心理学序説}, volume = {24}, year = {1977} }
