| 内容記述 | In counseling and psychotherapy situation, clients often report their dreams. The purpose of this study was, firstly, to explore how the client expressed and orientated his or her dreams into their experiences, in which the therapist and the client interacted in the context of the client-centered therapy; secondly, to consider the therapeutic processes as a whole in comparing the situation when the dreams are reported with the situation when the other verbalisms are expressed; and thirdly, to discuss with the quality of the psychotherapy relationship between the therapist and the client, and to present some suggestions for further practice in psychotherapy. The cases used in this study were two clients; the one terminated after 5 interviews, and the other 15 interviews. The results were described about the motives for therapy, the complaints, the therapist's pre-therapy experiences, the therapeutic processes, the impressions of the therapist at each interview sessions, and the expressions of the dreams. The consistent relationship was seen between the dream and the whole development of the therapy process. These results were discussed on the following points; 1) The cues to dream expression in the therapy situations. 2) The client's experiencing in the relationship. 3) The therapist's active listening, experiential response and high internal impact in the relationship. From these discussions, some suggestions were presented concerning on the problems of dreams in the context of the client-centered therapy. | |||||
