 note = {本稿では、医用画像処理ならびにコンピュータ支援外科の分野でトップクラスの国際会議とされるMICCAI (Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention)について紹介する。MICCAIは、医用画像処理、医用ロボット、コンピュータ治療支援を取り扱う国際会議である。特に工学的に新しい手法を取り上げる学会であり、医用画像処理ならびにコンピュータ外科に関する国際会議の中で、工学寄りの学会とも言える。2012年はフランス・ニースで開催され、2013年は名古屋大学豊田講堂を主会場として、日本学術会議共同主催の下、名古屋大学で開催される。本稿では、国際会議MICCAIの概要を紹介するとともに、MICCAIが取り扱うテーマを概説したい。, This paper introduces the International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI) that is a premier conference in the field of medical image processing and computer assisted surgery. The MICCAI is an international conference that focuses on medical image processing, medical robotics and computer assisted interventions. The MICCAI especially focuses on new methodology, algorithm, or medical devices in the sense of engineering. In 2012, the MICCAI conference will be held in Nice, France. The MICCAI 2013 will be held at Toyota Auditorium, Nagoya Univeristy under the support of Scientific Council of Japan.
