 note = {Seniors older than 65 years old were interviewed when they visited the Welfare Centers for the Aged in Nagoya. They were asked (1) to recall the past friendship in the twenties, thirties, forties, and fifteies (generation) and (2) to disclose the present friendship in the sixties or seventies. Main results were as follows. (1) The Welfare Center for the Aged has a role significantly contributed to make freiends among the aged.
