Gary Becker's classic study, "A Theory of the Allocation of Time", laid the analytical foundations for the study of household production and the allocation of time within the household. Becker's model was applied in empirical economics and allowed for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of women's labor force and housework. In addition, this analysis is based on the results of "Survey on Time Use and Leisure Activities". Male workers started going to work earlier than female workers and females arrived back home earlier than males. Female part-time workers started commuting later and coming home from work earlier than female regular staff. The Japanese society has basically continued to hold the sexual division of labor, husband's contribution to housework is much less than wife's in the developed countries.}, pages = {31--36}, title = {家計内生産からみる時間配分に関する考察}, volume = {63}, year = {2016} }
