The aim of this study is to describe some characteristics of counseling processes, and to discuss about it's therapeutic meanings. In this study, we reported two such cases. The case 'E' was a married woman of 43 years old. The family was consisted of her husband and her younger son. It was previously known that her elder son was lost by suicide. The complaint was her perplexed much problems and to obtain an advice to cope with such problems. The counseling interviews were continued about 11 months, and terminated at 28 interview sessions. The other case 'F' was also a married woman of 56 years old. This family was consisted of her husband, younger son and daughter. The initial complaint was her daughter's problem of school refusal. Additional matter was her son's in-hospitalized problem. He was a business man, and was becoming a gradual recovery after medical surgery. Sudden death, however, attacked him sooner. So, the woman interrupted the counseling for 5 months, and communicated her feelings by means of letters written to the counselor during these periods.
