 note = {This paper tries to inquairy positively and considering youth's friend-related structure and special feature through question paper investigation, observing communication action and companionship activities. One thousand two hundred sixty two (1,262) sampled junior high school and high school students completed a questionnaire. The feature about the friend relation of the youth is as follows: 1) Desire of having various friends and of extending a friend-related network is high (intention of openness). 2) On the other hand, students interchange frequently with the member who belonged and fixed to two or more friend groups (the tendency of closing). 3 ) They are contacting the friend by using the cellular phone each other. However, according to these results of the investigation, it was not found that students are performing the friend relation alternatively, making full use of a cellular phone etc. Friendship shows the tendency to make to fixation. This research showed that there were not so many differences between man and woman in using the cellular phone. And, it was pointed out that the cellular phone tended to be used for the mail function more than the telephone call function.},
