In part I, we reviewed 418 articles which were reported in The Japanese Journal of Psychology and The Japanese Journal of Educational Psychology. These were the studies whose subjects were adolescents (junior high school students, high school students, and college students). At first step in the analysis, we sorted these studies from the point of view of the theme. And we found 18 areas in the studies on adolescence. Subsequently, We examined these studies in each area and analyzed from three standpoints : 1) methods, 2) subjects, 3) psychological constructs. In part II, we discussed the problems in adolescent development.
