 note = {Assessment is one of the imponanl roles in school counseling activity. One of the methods for assessment is to survey on students' needs. The purpose of this study is to discuss how to use a counseling room by investigating needs thar junior high and high school student have and the possibility of needs survey. This study consists of study1 and study2. Study1 was to investigate how to use the counseling room in school A by using data of actual school counseling activity. Suvey2 was to investigate what needs students have in school A. Compared the result of Study1 with the result of Study2. (1) General improvement and information about counseling room in junior high and high school is necessary for especially junior high school students. (2) Counselor in junior high and high school should take into consideration that Many students who use the counseling room have troubles about their family. This study suggested that need survey is quite useful in school counseling activity.},
