Since 1980s', researchers in Northern America has assessed depression in childhood with operational methodologies such as CDI (Children's Depression Inventory; Kovacs, M. (1980/1981)). But CDI has not been fully examined its validity in large samples in Japan. In this study, we investigated depression in childhood and adolescence using CDI with normal population. Samples was 551 (274 boys and 277 girls) children from 7 years of age (elementary school pupiles) to 17 years (high school students). Results were as the following; 1) By conducting a factor analysis, only one factor emerged and it revealed that CDI has a high internal consistency. 2) Some scores of the CDI's items became higher with age, while others were not changed. It is suspected that depression in childhood and adolescence has different appearance according to each developmental stage. 3) CDI score tended to become higher in adolecence. And Japanese children and adolescents had higher CDI score compared with data of foreign countries., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {129--139}, title = {<原著>児童・思春期の抑うつ状態に関する研究 : 健常児童を対象として}, volume = {37}, year = {1990} }
