At first we analyzed the studies on adolescence reported in The Japanese Journal of Psychology and The Japanese Journal of Educational Psychology from three standpoints : 1) methods, 2) subjects, and 3) psychological constructs. The areas of study treated in this report were left unfinished in the previous report. These areas were as follows : 1) cognitive development, 2) values, 3) moral judgment, 4) needs and motivation, 5) learning and instruction, 6) choices of vocation and academic course, 7) adult characteristics, 8) delinquency, 9) local study, 10) psychological measurement and assessment, 11) and so forth. Secondly, the major psychological constructs in each area were presented. (see Table 1.) And finally, some of major constructs were examined relating with the method of study and the subject. (see Table 2 and Table 3.) In conclusion, we pointed out several problems, namely, obscurity of constructs, existence of constructs that had been studied insufficiently, and an inclination for a specific method (questionnaire method).
