The purpose of this paper is to reserch Chinese students on their cross-cultural adjustment issues in Japan. Using the results of survey which was conducted by Foreign Students Newspaper (February 1,1994-April 1,1994), We will examine how multiple factors are related to the psychological well-being of Chinese students. From this research, we can portray Chinese students to the following sketch : (1) They feel that they are generally well adjusted to life in Japan (89.3%). (2) Their top-three concerns and problems are loneliness, future, and finance. (3) They hold contradicted views toward the attitude of Japanese. This research also points out the need of counselors and counseling offices in college and university settings where Chinese students can seek help.
