 note = {When non-natives learn Japanese, they have difficulties in mastering the special mora sounds in Japanese (/H/ : long-vowels, /Q/ : double-consonants, /N/ : nasal-consonants and nasalized vowels). Those problems appear regardless of their mother-tongues. This paper examined the problems of teaching Japanese-sounds in the interdisciplinary cooperation. It discussed based on the followings; the situation of teaching Japanese as a second language, the studies of Japanese in Japan, phonetics, and information processing engineering.
