A challenge is achieving equivalent teaching and learning effectiveness with this active learning pedagogical method. This report estimates lectures given by the author in 2015 and 2016. As a result, the flipped classroom shows positive impact on students’ learning effects, especially for students who work hard on advance preparation. Self-learning outside school hours is often viewed as the critical element in the flipped classroom.
