In study 1,in hypothetical settings, the effects of the status of one's partner (senior, equal, and junior), and one's own knowledge level of a given topic (high and low) on the opinion conformity were examined. The result of study 1 suggests : 1) the higher the status of one's partner, one is more likely to conform to one's partner; and 2) the lower the level of one's knowledge about topic, one is more likely to conform to one's partner. No interaction effect between the status and the knowledge level was found. Thus, the status and the knowledge level independently effect on the opinion conformity. In study 2,the effects of one's knowledge level and availability of information about the both communicator's knowledge level of a given topic were examined. The subjects talked the confederate by writing. The result of study 2 indicates : 1) when the communicators can compare the knowledge level of a given topic, the more knowledgeable one dose not conform to the partner, while the less knowledgeable dose; 2) as the conversation progresses, the self-presentation appears clearly in expressing opinions. These findings were discussed in the theoretical framework of ingratiation., 国立情報学研究所で電子化したコンテンツを使用している。}, pages = {77--86}, title = {意見表明における自己呈示に関する研究}, volume = {43}, year = {1996} }
