 note = {This study reviewed the findings of previous studies regarding proficiency of therapists by focusing on developmental models of therapists and the therapist’s factors affecting therapeutic effects. In regard to the developmental models, there are many developmental models of therapist that move from novices to experts in a phased manner. These models are classified in two types from the standpoint of effective factors. One type is characterized that therapists develop by clinical-trainings and length of the clinical experience. The other is characterized that therapists develop by internal changes of therapists such as personality development and professional identity. In terms of therapist’s factors affecting therapeutic effects, a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship facilitates therapeutic success. Finally, this study mentioned the task of studies regarding proficiency of therapists.},
