My goal is to report the results of field excavations and the ethnoarchaeological investigations that we have carried out in the USA, Canada and Japan. Our research team took part and helped support the 2007 investigation of Sunken Village wet site, an acorn pit leaching site dating 700 years ago in Portland, Oregon, USA, and the 2009 investigation of Mud- Bay wet site (Indian name Qwu?gwes) in Olympia, Washington, USA, a shellfish processing camp dating between 1000 years ago and 500 years ago and directed for 11 years by Dr. Croes. Then we participated in the excavations of Labouchere Bay Archaeological Project, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, USA in 2013, and the prehistoric site of Triquet Island, British Columbia, Canada in 2015. We visited the Hoko River Archaeological Site Complex dated from 3000 years ago to 1700 years ago in 2009 and 2010, and the Ozette site dated from 300 years ago in 2010 and 2012. Both of these sites are located on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington, USA. We also joined in the 2009 Suquamish Tribal Canoe Journeys, Journey to Makah in 2010, and Paddle to Squaxin in 2012; These huge gatherings allowed us to conduct ethno-archaeological investigations with thousands of Indigenous People participating.}, pages = {213--244}, title = {縄文時代と北米北西海岸先史時代の比較研究のための基礎的報告}, volume = {1}, year = {2018} }
