@article{oai:nagoya.repo.nii.ac.jp:00025979, author = {鷲見, 幸美 and SUMI, Yukimi}, journal = {名古屋大学人文学研究論集}, month = {Mar}, note = {This paper presents a semantic analysis of Japanese polysemic compound verb “Mikaesu” from the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics . It describes the plural meanings taking the approach of non-reductionism, and it examines the semantic network as a polysemic verb and the analyzability as a compound verb. Taking the bottom up approach, it focusd on the importance of the context. As a result, it shows that the basic meaning is extended to two metonymical meanings and three meanings make a semantic network as a polysemic verb, and also the meaning contribution of the first verb and the second verb are recognized in each of the three meanings. Previous studies did not make it clear how “Mikaesu” used in “mo ichido mikaesu” differs from a synonym “Minaosu,” but this paper claims that it focuses on repetition unlike “Minaosu”. Previous studies which examined “Kaesu” as the second verb of a compound verb “Verb-kaesu” excluded “Mikaesu” used in “seken no hito o mikaesu” from the examinations as a case of compound verbs which cannot be divided into the first verb and the second verb, but my results shows that it is an extension of “Mikaesu” used in “aite (no kao) o mikaesu,” and also it is supported by “Kaesu” which means “turn over.” The semantic extension to this meaning is mainly based on metonymy, but its path is a compound and complicated, and it seems to be the reason of the difficulty and the flexibility of understanding and using it.}, pages = {289--304}, title = {多義的複合動詞「見返す」の意味分析 : 意味ネットワークと分析可能性の観点から}, volume = {1}, year = {2018} }
