Further, “Construction of a support system” was recommended for almost all cases involving academic problems, and sometimes “cooperation as a trigger for adaptation” was also included when an additional need for access to resources was assessed. Although results are limited by our sample size and require continued study, this initial data reinforces findings of previous research on the importance of assessing levels of collaboration early in the counseling process and then including students in cooperative processes to help build their own support systems. 内容記述 This study aims to examine the importance of “consultation and collaboration with others” during the intake phase of counseling sessions for college students. To begin with, “consultation or collaboration” details were collected from 27 student counseling cases.
