@article{oai:nagoya.repo.nii.ac.jp:00027485, author = {髙野, 彰 and TAKANO, Akira}, journal = {名古屋大学附属図書館研究年報}, month = {Mar}, note = {Emile by J.J. Rousseau has been published by Duchesne in 1762 at Paris. It has two editions of 8vo and 12mo. These editions consist of four books each, and title-pages of these editions are center-justified except a triple rule of the title page of volume 1 of 8vo which is aligned left. So triple rules of title pages of volume 1 of 8vo have been shown by two kinds of justifications. One triple rule is aligned left and the other is center-justified. At first, a triple rule of the title page of volume 1 of 8vo is wrongly aligned left(first title page) and afterward, it became center-justified(second title page). So first and second title pages should be printed at the order. As the compositor of the title page of vol.1 of 8vo dared to stop printing-press to centerjustify a triple rule of the title page of vol.1 and indented it by the breadth of large C of Chez, he ought to indent triple rules of following 3 vols by the same breadth. Surely a triple rule of the title page of vol.4 is indented by the breadth of large C. In spite of it, a triple rule of the title page of vol.2 is nearly aligned left and a triple rule of the title page of vol.3 is not indented by the breadth of the large C. Then, two title pages of vol.2 and 3 should not be composed by the compositor of vol.1 but another compositor. If another compositor works at the same printing office as the compositor of vol.1, information on revision of the justification will be heard to him. But triple rules of the title pages of vol.2 and 3 are not fully indented. He should have worked at the another place where information on revision was no heard, that is, another printing office. So another compositor had to composite title-pages of vol.2 and 3 without any information on revision of the justification. Then, title pages of vol.1 and 4 should be composed by one printing office and title pages of vol. 2 and 3 by another printing office. The title-page of 12mo may be printed first than the title page of 8vo. If so, at first, the title page of vol.1 of 12mo is printed and its triple rule is center-justified. After that, the title page of volume 1 of 8vo is printed but its triple rule is aligned left(first title page). After being correctly center-justified, why the triple rule is dared to be justified wrongly? Then first title page, second title page of 8vo. and the title-page of vol.1 of 12mo should be printed at the order.}, pages = {1--9}, title = {『エミール』初版(パリ版)のタイトルページの印刷}, volume = {16}, year = {2019} }
